@asiegel1202 Yes, those are the wrong kind of discs. You need inkjet printable discs. We sell them at our cdrom2go site or most electronic stores sell them. For the lightscribe discs, you can either use a lightscribe burner (our lightscribe video is in the related videos list) or you can buy labels, print on the labels and then stick the labels on the lightscribe discs. Theoretically, the second option should work, but you might experience some playback issues especially if you use thick labels.

@exxtreem23 We offer the Artisan 725 as the replacement for the Artisan 710 and they are very similar. The 725 is basically a new and improved 710.

Ive had a look at Epson’s website to my shock i found Epson Artisan 710 has been discontinued, means they’re no longer selling or making that printer. They’ve replaced it with Artisan 725!

@cajuanaya Buy an awesome printer like this one. :) We have an informative video that could help you out. It’s normally listed in the related videos of this video. It’s called “Printing CD/DVD Media – Explained by cdrom2go.” You can also check out our cdrom2go website or blog for more info.

how do I print from my computer to a cd/dvd?

  12. 12
    cdrom2go

@leduc60484 The number of discs one single cartridge can do really depends on how much ink the artwork requires so any estimates are sketchy at best. To print, all you need is a white or silver inkjet printable discs. we sell numerous brands at cdrom2go.

Nevermind, I didn’t pull up the LCD/button panel, haha!

My CD tray doesn’t go out all the way like that. Should I pull it out more or could it be a mistake? I can still put the disc inside but I’d have to touch the bottom to take it out which I don’t really want to do…

@Mendelevium146 You can print both ways.

@cdrom2go thanks for the advice! Taiyo Yuden seems to be quiet the underdog here in germany… but at least they are avaidable. I used Verbatim before, but the surface is very very sensetiv about fingerprints.
so then, next time taiyo yuden it is, ill give’em a try

@dharkbizkit JohnMcNally made a good call. Taiyo Yuden makes the best discs. If you are duplicating DVD-VIDEO, I wouldn’t recommend burning on DL because they have very poor compatibility rates with DVD players. Granted this changing with new, better players, but it is something to be cognizant of.

@dharkbizkit Look for Taiyo Yuden water shield.

@cdrom2go thanks a lot :) btw, can you recommand some full-face printable dvds? should be DL but not necesseracly and should have glossy kinda surface

  22. 22
    cdrom2go

@dharkbizkit The print quality is excellent. Full printer resolution is available when printing on discs and if you use watershield discs the quality is extremely good, better than the Everest and P-55.

    dharkbizkit

@cdrom2go Well then I ask it another way. Is the CD print in almost the same quality as a normal paper picture print. Just want to know if the “printing grid” is fine, or visable. would you say it’s a high quality print or mere a dotted low quality print? Iam looking for somethign that gives kinda same quality on CD like the Canon pixma 4500/4600 series

  24. 24
    cdrom2go

@dharkbizkit I’m not a 100% sure. It doesn’t really give you the option to print at a different DPI for discs so I’m assuming it uses the DPI selected for paper printing.

One question. CAn this Printer print on CD’s with Maximum DPI? My current HP 5460 only uses 600×600 DPI on maximum settings for Disc printing even though, the printer can use 9600x2400dpi
