I sent a package through the post office (parcel post) to a friend. But when the package arrived it was damaged. Unfortunately, I didn’t keep the original insurance receipt. Can my friend still file a claim at the post office by showing the damaged content and box wtih the Insured Sticker on the box? Thanks.

The best thing for your friend to do is to take the package to the post office and ask.

I can’t be positive without asking, but I’d say yes. Just take the box along with the contents to the Post Office that delivered it and file the claim. Don’t wait too long or they may deny it because of it not being done in a timely manner.
