Q&A: A 40 story office building has 25,000 sq ft of space to rent, what is the average rental space on a floor?
I don’t understand how to do this problem.

40 floors have 25,000 ft^2
each floor has 25,000/40 = 625 ft^2

average always has something to do with dividing
25000/40=625
divide the total sqare feet into each floor. and ur answer is 625

= 25,000 sq ft / 40 floors
= 625 sq ft

Answer: 625 sq ft per floor I suppose that only one tenant could occupy each floor.

you have to divide 25000 by 40 and you get 625. Which is your average amount of space available to rent on a floor. Hope this helps!!!
