Q&A: How many sq feet is a normal two story bank that you go to for deposits/checks n stuff?
I’m doing a project and i have some business/office zoned buildings i need to fill up with stuff.

I have a 4 story office building that has a total of 60,000 sq feet.
Could i possibly use the bottom 2 floors for a bank (30,000 sq feet) and then the top 2 floors for other stuff like insurance agencies and dentist offices and stuff?

ALSO: About how many sq feet is a SMALL law firm?

Here in the San Francisco Bay Area the average retail bank branch is 12-15,000 sq.ft. I just appraised 3 of then in the last year. In small towns it is as little as 3,000 sq.ft.

Insurance agencies are approx. 300 sq.ft. per employee.

Small law firms (1 man operation) are about 500 sq.ft. However, I have seen a single lawyer without a secretary operate out of a whole in the wall office of 200 sq.ft. Conversely, an older established lawyer with a paralegal/secretary/research assistant using about 1,000 sq.ft. 350-400 sq.ft. per employee might be a good rule of thumb. Lawyers need more storage space and like a location close to the court house.
