Question: openoffice downloaded program can be open in a ms word office?
i downloaded Open Office and start using word, i saved it in my documents. i dont have a printer so i was thinking to save it in usb and bring it to computer shop to print it. can an ms office word program can read this? would it be on the same layout?

Q&A: How can I retrieve old word documents from my hard drive with word 2010 or Open Office?
After my PC froze-up two weeks ago, I had to re-install my Windows XP Home Edition and install Open Office plus Word 2010 as Microsoft “doesn’t support” my old Works Suite 2002 and Word disc that I lost the certificate of Authority 25-character Product key for ( I threw the box away a couple of months ago not realizing it has this sticker on the back of it that I would need soon, LOL) But Now I cannot figure out how to get the new programs to get my old letters and documents back – luckily I saved my book manuscript on an old floppy disc and poetry on the flash drive or I’d be really sad.
